How to Add a New Job

Add New Job feature allows technicians to create jobs in the ServiceCEO database and Supervisor Role. Technicians can select customer, date, duration, frequency, and summary. Also, technicians can add products, services, and kits, as well as capture photos and signature. When a new job is created and submitted, the dispatch is notified by an email.

Before you can actually add a job from your mobile device make sure you have the device setting for this option enabled. To do that go to your ServicePortal.

4. Make sure the Allow to add New Job is checked. 


1. Getting Started

 

1. Click "Add New Job" on the dashboard to begin.

2. New Jobs View


New Jobs view displays jobs that have been started but are currently are not submitted. Not submitted jobs stay in the ServiceBridge for 7 days or until device database is purged.

3. Enter Job Information

1. Select the date and time when the job is assigned for.
2. Select estimated duration for the job.
3. Enter job summary.
4. Search for an existing customer or add a new customer.
5. Company Profile - Is only visible if you have multiple company profiles from ServiceCEO.
6. Enter the Campaign
7. How often the job should be worked on.
8. Navigate through other tabs to enter products, services, notes, capture signatures and photos.

1. Search for an existing customer or add a new customer.
2. Search for customers adress or add a new address
3. Search for existing contact information or add new contact information
4. Choose the Company Profile- is only visible if you have multiple company profiles from ServiceCEO.
5. Select the start date the job is assigned for.
6. Select start time when the job is assigned for.
7. The "Refresh" button syncs ServiceBridge with ServiceCEO software to retrieve latest job information.
8. Navigate through other tabs to enter products, services, notes, capture signatures and photos.

4. Customer Search

 

1. Enter 3 characters of customer's name or address to search for an existing customer record.
2. Allows you to add new customer record.
3. *IOS only* Refresh button downloads new customer records form the ServiceCEO database.

5. Select Customer Address

 

1. Allows you to add a new location name and address.
2. Select the existing customers address.

6. Select Customer Contact Information

 

1. Allows you to add a new contact
2. Select an existing contact for the job.

7. Submitting a New Job

 

1. Click the "Submit" button to create a job record in the ServiceCEO software and Supervisor Role. When the Submit button is clicked technician is prompted to choose from 2 different submission options.
  • Note that the following fields are required to create a new job:
  • Customer
  • Address
  • Contact
  • Start Date / Time
  • Summary
  • Estimated Duration

2. *Android Only* Saves new job information to be submitted within 7 days.
3. *Android Only* Delete the job.
4. *Android Only* Refresh button downloads new customer records form the ServiceCEO database.

8. Submit New Job Options

 

1. Assign To Me
  • Job is created in SCEO with "Assigned" substatus.
  • Office is notified.
  • Job appears in Jobs Due Today or Job Total view based on selected date

2. Submit for Review
  • Job is created in SCEO with NO substatus.
  • No team assignment is made.
  • Office is notified.
  • Job disappears from mobile device.

    Note: Jobs that are not submitted stay in Add New Job view until submitted, or for 7 days. Jobs that are submitted will disappear from the "Add New Job" view.

Zone pricing, State and Federal tax information for the new customer or customer's new address will have to be updated by the office staff before issuing an invoice.
