Inventive Commissions (Bonuses)

Incentive commissions allow you to pay out additional money based on goal reached. These incentives can be based on either amount sold per period or simply an amount sold.

Setting up Incentives

Go to commission roles setup. More details on setting up commission roles can be found here.

Click on Edit for the Commission Role you would like to apply incentives.

Inventive Payments: By Time Period – Allows you setting up the bonus being paid out if/when the target amount is reached for the time period.

  • Is Active – Enables Incentive payments
  • Start calculating from: - When is the start date of incentive payments to start calculating
  • Period - Time frame within the goal can be reached
  • Target Amount – Amount in sales that would trigger the bonus to be paid out.
  • Flat Bonus – A dollar amount to be paid out (by default Bonus Amount is a percentage from the sales)
  • Bonus Amount ( Percent from sales that should be paid out to the employee )

Incentive Payments: By Invoice Size – Allows you setting up the bonus being paid out when the target amount is reached.

  • Is Active – Enables Incentive payments
  • Target Amount – Amount in sales that would trigger the bonus to be paid out.
  • Flat Bonus – A dollar amount to be paid out (by default Bonus Amount is a percentage from the sales)
  • Bonus Amount ( Percent from sales that should be paid out to the employee )

Click the Save button once you have your Incentive Commissions set up to your expectations.
